The worst game ever made
On purpose.
Burger Person is a game about waiting in line at a fast food restaurant. The waiting is the game. It may be the worst game ever made, and it was made that way on purpose.
Why it is this bad
You are let out at the far side of a parking lot. You walk to the door and join the back of the one line, behind everyone else who is playing right now. Then you wait. The line moves when the people ahead of you are done, and not before.
If you stop keeping up, you doze off, and the people behind you step around you. At the register a timer starts. Order before it runs out, or the burger walks you to the door.
The food is not real. It costs real money, with tax, and you may order one of each item. After that you wait for your number, carry a tray to a table, and eat one bite at a time. You leave with a receipt that says how long you stood in line.
Bad by accident, bad on purpose
Most of the games on lists of the worst games ever made got there by accident. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600 was made in under six weeks in 1982. Superman for the Nintendo 64 came out broken in 1999. Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing came out in 2003 with opponents that never left the starting line.
A smaller number are terrible because somebody meant them to be. Desert Bus has you drive an empty bus from Tucson to Las Vegas in real time, eight hours, for one point. Waiting in Line 3D is a game about standing in a line. Burger Person belongs with those. There is a short list of bad games made on purpose, and a full account of how cumbersome this one is.
