Cumbersome

Every inconvenience, in order.

Burger Person is a slow, tedious, cumbersome game. None of it is a bug. This is everything that is in your way, in the order you meet it.

  1. The parking lot. You are let out at the curb. The door is on the other side of the lot.
  2. The line. There is one. Everyone who is playing is in it. You join at the back.
  3. The wait. The line moves when the people ahead of you are done. Nothing skips it.
  4. Dozing off. Stop keeping up and you fall asleep where you stand. The people behind you step around you.
  5. The ropes. Inside, the line winds back and forth before it reaches the counter.
  6. The register. You have a short time to order. If it runs out, the burger walks you to the door.
  7. One of each. You may order one of each item per visit, and no more.
  8. Paying. The food is not real. It costs real money, with tax, on a real card.
  9. Your number. After you pay you wait again, for your number to be called.
  10. The tray. You carry it to the dining room yourself and find an open table.
  11. Eating. One bite at a time. One sip at a time.
  12. Leaving. When you are done, a timer tells you to go.
  13. The receipt. It says how long you stood in line.

People ask whether it could be more cumbersome. We are looking into it.

This is why it may be the worst game ever made, and why it is on the list of bad games made on purpose.
